| 7th | Tuesday monthly meeting at St Columba's Church Hall. Doors open at 9.45am, meeting starts at 10.30am. Talk by Stephen Shakeshaft entitled 'Chester Uncovered'. |
| 9th | Thursday monthly meeting at St Columba's Church Hall. 10:00am. No speaker at this meeting, so come along and enjoy a cup of coffee and a social chat. Andrew Cross will give a short presentation on the results of the recent Members Survey. The book swap table, computer help desk and social events table will also be available. |
| 15th | Popular Science lectures in the lecture theatre at Bishops Blue Coat Church of England High School (CH3 5XF). Coffee from 09:30, start at 10:00, finish at noon. Two speakers: Mike Money's talk on 'Happy and Healthy - Food and Positive Mental Health' will explore the potential contribution food can make to our happiness and sense of well-being. Andrew Cross will talk about 'Lightning', with plenty of photos of lightning strikes and advice on the safest place to be in a such a storm. |
